We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. - Romans 6:4
Baptism is a beautiful and sacred declaration of our new life in Christ—
a public symbol of an inward transformation. When we enter the waters, we identify with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, expressing that our old life has been washed away and we are raised to walk in the power of His Spirit.
It’s not the water that saves us, but our faith in the One who does. Yet baptism is still deeply important: it’s an act of obedience, a testimony to our community, and a marker of belonging to the family of God. Through it, we celebrate God’s redeeming grace and commit ourselves to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.
We celebrate with FBC’s recent baptisms
